Café Calva Revisited by Mandy Naglich
Ingredients :
¼ oz Honey Apple Syrup
1 ½ oz Avallen Calvados
4-6 oz Fresh Coffee
2 oz Honey Apple Whipped Cream
🍯🍎Honey Apple Syrup
½ cup water
½ cup honey
1 apple washed and cubed
In a microwave safe container, bring water and honey to boil using the microwave. (Watch it carefully so the mixture does not boil over.) Carefully remove from microwave and stir to cool slightly. Add apple cubes.
Allow the mixture to cool completely. Strain into a bottle or storage container removing all apple cubes. Syrup stays fresh in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
🍦🍎Honey Apple Whipped Cream
1 tablespoon Honey Apple Syrup (above)
1 cup heavy whipping creamy
Whip syrup and cream together with an immersion blender until loose peaks form. If the cream becomes too thick, whisk in splashes of syrup until it is loose again.
Instructions:
1. Brew coffee and add in Calvados
2. Top with Honey Apple Whipped Cream and syrup
